Blackberry Quilting, a professional quilting service with reasonable prices.
Welcome to Blackberry Quilting where patchwork tops become beautiful quilts.
I have been sewing by hand and machine since I was a little girl and I cannot
remember a time when I didn’t have a piece of needlework in progress.
I have been making quilts for approximately 10 years and it was while I was at the
Festival of Quilts in Birmingham 3 years ago that I tried stitching with a longarm
machine and decided to buy one, and Blackberry Quilting began in Newbury,
Berkshire.
I still feel honoured when a customer allows me to stitch on their precious top as I
know the time and effort it takes to make one. If the correct designs, patterns and
threads are chosen for a quilt then longarm quilting will enhance any top.
From August 2007 Blackberry Quilting is becoming computerised this will mean that
almost any quilting design can be stitched on to almost any area of your quilt that you
desire.

Jacqueline Narnor
My philosophy for life.
Life -is a gift we have but one chance to enjoy, so what ever hand you are
dealt, live it, don’t regret it!
Friends – Are people who may be busy but make time for you. Who will
be honest and put up with the good and bad times.
Family – As long as we love each other, we have everything!
Quilting
Upon each quilt top that I stitch,
I have thoughts that I am rich.
For who else do you know
Who has their own private quilt show?
For as you look upon your quilt and smile
Remember that it took quite a while
For you to make that quilt with fabric and thread
So that I could quilt it for your bed.
It was made with love, it was made with care
So that others who looked, would have to stare
Not with shock or with envy
But with respect for that piece of beauty.
Quilters always look and touch
The quilts they admire very much.
So when you lie with that quilt to sleep
Remember my dreams of riches are now yours to keep.
Once again I repeat my ode
With loving quilts, you’ll never feel the cold
Every one made has it’s own beauty
Come on woman make another, it’s your duty!
