My name is Maureen Carroll and I reside in Limerick Maine with my husband of seventeen years and our four beautiful children.
About ten years ago we purchased the family homestead where my husband grew up, a beautiful 1820 post and beam New England cape surrounded by stone walls. It has been the history of this old home that has inspired me to create. It has been very important to both my husband and myself to bring this house back to what it once might have been, to fill it with an antique and primitive flair that is warm and inviting and reminds all who enter of a bygone day.
I began making floor cloths and game boards when we started the redecorating process. Friends and family loved my work so much that my husband encouraged me to start my own business. Orders started coming in and I have been busy ever since.
I started making my millinery bonnet forms for the same reason, I wanted one for myself for our Gathering Room. A friend saw it and said that I should add them to my line. Soon after customers were inquiring about fully dressed dolls. I have now added them to my offerings and just love them. It is thrilling to see them come to life as I sculpt each of their little faces. Their clothing is made individually according to their shape and personality, no pattern is ever used. All my dolls are all one of a kind and I believe it is their uniqueness that makes them so very special.

I welcome special orders with the understanding that I can not offer refunds on special order pieces.
